Along the Waterfront

Public Market by Tommia Wright

Continuing the exploration on the first day of summer ‘required’ a trip to the city. On a sunny day like that day, it was great to be outdoors.

The iconic Pike Place Market sign is always worth shooting. Although this day would be too early for a wrap in sunset, this was still picture perfect with the sailboat on the far side.

After grabbing a bite to eat, listening to a quartet singing on the corner, and buying a newspaper for later translation, some shots are found simply by turning around.

Fountain Fun by Tommia Wright

The temperatures were high enough for some brave souls to remove their shoes, roll up their pant legs and soak their feet in the fountain. I’m not quite that brave, but standing within the cascading mist worked just as well.

Plenty more to see while in the city on the first day of summer.
