…so it must be Tuesday. Seriously, to have two consecutive Tuesdays of snow is annoyingly odd – and may I say it falls in a funny way – ‘tons’ where I live, yet barely a dusting at my final destination? I respect the meteorologists, really. But it would be nice if what they say the night before really holds true through the morning.
To drive through town, it would be hard to guess folks had to find their cars first. Pavement easy to see, hardily a dusting of any kind, until you get to the top of the hill outside and then it’s a winter wonderland. To drive on the highway in the morning as rush hour ends feels more like sitting in the Millennium Falcon during warp drive even if the fasted you’re driving is only 40 in the 70.
I did get a few more story ideas (not that I need any more, seriously, but hey, they’re hard to pass by) as I drove in for another “Practice, Practice, Practice” session hosted by artEast. I could probably collect half a dozen ideas between house and car (thanks to the cat), and a half dozen more when I have to go back in to grab the car keys, but I digress. Only a few of us there, but creativity came about just the same.
With that said, thought it might be time to share some homework. Granted, I’ve plenty of ‘stacked/overdue’ assignments from the SVW prompts and sessions – working on that, really. One of the props used last week was a collection of watches to choose from. Here was the end result.

Interesting and the first part of the story intriguing.
