Cold Awakenings

I may not like scraping ice off the windshield at oh-dark-thirty. But looking up at the sky to catch a scene like this might be worth it:

    I have scenes like that when the weather is balmy. There are no clouds to block the view. I realize that in Washington it is always a sense of surprise to see the actual sky at anytime.
