Hard to believe how quickly this year has gone. Many wonderful things have happened; many sad events give pause.
As is the case with any year-end review, most print publications repeat memorable photos; news shows offer a presentation of personalities now gone; radio stations count down the songs. Various businesses boast of booming months while others bare the breakdowns, some just before boarding up for good. Stats can be seen/shared for sites/blogs/tweets/what have you.
Granted, I’ll admit a fun number for the year was 12-12-12.
But one number stands out –
52,560,000 times the average heart has beaten this year (give or take a few thousand).
To you, Dear Reader, I wish the following:
May the closing year be safe;
May the upcoming year be filled with promise and many blessings.

And yours also. You forgot to put in how many blogs you posted. Isn’t that noteworthy? Happy New Year.
Oops – now you know why I’m not an accountant (smile).
This year’s collection saw an addition of 180 (including the new NaNo-focused blog). You, my dear friend, have been so kind in providing the most feedback. Thank you!
Gorgeous photo! All the best to you in the coming year!
And to you as well! Thank you for being so supportive with your feedback/likes and ideas shared during writers’ cafes. Now on to the Sketchbook! (smile)
Happy New Year!
The same to you, Denise!
