Three ‘joy’ful reads to enjoy.
Joy of Cooking -Who didn’t make it through home ec without referencing this book? Still have the same copy, complete with creative bookmarks, measuring cup stains and other things indicating the most frequently used recipes.
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan is a remarkable read. Surprisingly one of the few books to survive a proper translation to the screen.
A Gift of Joy by Helen Hayes is a joy to read. One of only a few actor autobiographies/biographies I own, this is tucked on the shelf along with Jimmy Stewart, James Earl Jones and Katherine Hepburn
What books are on your shelf that are worth returning to?

Very cleaver.
Thanks (smile)
I have read and reread several books many times. Two that come to mind are:
Tisha, Gone With the Wind and The HIding Place.
Good reads there indeed (LOVE “The Hiding Place” and “Tisha.”) Getting ready to reread Orwell’s 1984.
