It’s amazing how the view of a city can change going up a few floors…
The Smith Tower was the highest building west of the Mississippi in 1914. It has since dwarfed with the passage of time. The view outside of the Chinese Room on the 35th floor is breathtaking nevertheless.
Getting to the observation deck of the Columbia Tower required two separate elevator rides and the popping of ears before an eye-popping view of the surrounding area (despite the clouds).
What heights have you ascended to in your city/town recently?
