Beware the notion that ‘there’s always tomorrow.’
You never know what might lead to sorrow
Example – exceedingly too soon goodbyes

Plain pieces of paper
Really require radiant
Impressions, ink, imagination
Needing a chance
To texturally ‘talk’
Determined days
Of observing
No one’s
Obligations, just
Time and
Happiness with
Immediate family
Nourishes the soul
Greatly
Finding a
Really
Incredibly sweet
Enjoyably
Nice
Dessert to
Share with friends
Let’s not forget, without a doubt
Inventions that
Give us
Helpful insights-
Things like electricity – unless it’s gone out.
Certain
Original soundtracks
Slip into a piece of comfort,
Mapping a way towards
Obtainable or escapist dreams in
Slumberland
Perhaps if we stopped
Engaging with the noise
And focused on those that
Really matter to us
Life would hold more love than madness
First day of the New Year
Underestimated the importance of separate spaces
Now, new cup, new gallery, and old things are out in the open
Boxes emptied, books blank and instructional at the ready
Enjoyed day one of the return to poetry,
Gathering projects forgotten or ignored
Important time etched at both ends of the day
Nourishing the muse
So – let’s play!
Another year done, with another filled with promise just around the corner!

Fun is no
Radio or
Electricity or
Electric kettle for tea.
Zooming about’s off the table, so
Everybody ‘freeze.’
