Sunday Snapshot

Galactic scene of stars and clouds painted on canvas by Angel Abraham Loo.

In front of it - a ceramic teapot with a black silhouette of Mount Si under the stars and nebula and a small round plate (propped) with Snoqualmie Falls under a cosmic swirl in the star-filled sky - both painted by Amy Rae Hill.
Stellar Valley Scene!

“Tea is the magic key to the vault where my brain is kept.” – Frances Hardinge

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Amy Rae Hill! The Snoqualmie Falls is stunning beside Mount Si! (smile)

Thank you, thank you, Angel Abraham Loo, for creating a stellar escape to accompany my cup of tea!

Monday Moments

“For a person who grew up in the ’30s and ’40s in the segregated South, with so many doors closed without explanation to me, libraries and books said, ‘Here I am, read me.’ Over time I have learned I am at my best around books.” ~ Maya Angelou

There were two places we walked to weekly when I was young – church and the local KCLS library.

Surrounded by the many stories, pictures, and soaring possibilities, lost in words, I flew.
