Eighty years ago today, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066. I didn’t learn about Washington State’s dark history until college, and it was thanks to a Children’s Lit class.

There’s still time to learn, to hear the stories, to take action in preventing something like this from happening again.
