Fall’s First Sunset

Fall’s Sunset by Tommia Wright

Fall’s First Sunset

The nights grow longer, the leaves change hue.

Time to set aside play, learn something new.

Time to settle in for the night, with the sun’s setting light.

May troubles, worries be resolved, may wrongs be put right.

Summer’s glare and muggy air give way to a comforting cool.

Scattered leaves of reds, yellows, oranges, brown, surround nature’s pool.
