Our dry spell has ended and the rain has begun to fall! Since there will be plenty of stormy and misty weather to come, I thought we’d start with a low river photo…

Along with a welcoming rain would be the vibrant colors of fall against the evergreen.

Granted, the long drought ended as of today, but there’s something to be said about a couple of stubborn berries who have survived: cats, dogs, deer, elk and any other berry-picking-bandit.
