What are your thoughts on the choices of some bookstores? Is Amazon to blame for the artists’ ambitions to share their work?

No, as Amazon does have printed books. The big book stores never took vanity press books, but the current situations leaves little choice. People that read my novels fall in love with the characters and the writing. The big publishers quit taking books that were stories. It leaves good authors little choice but to go independent or find a small press publishing house that because of printing costs will be affiliated with Amazon. Big books stores drove out many of the independent bookstores and people turned to Amazon. Now Amazon has but one competitor: Barnes & Noble.
