The Seattle Symphony: October 2018 by Tommia Wright
Let’s be honest – classical music is the elixir of life!
Last month’s escape included an indulgence to hear Sheku Kanneh-Mason‘s U.S. orchestral debut, playing Tchaikovsky’s Rococo variations! Also taking to the stage to make a mark was the conductor, Ruth Reinhardt. With these two a part of the Seattle Symphony, if only for a short spell, made for a splendid, soaring evening.
What rising stars have you discovered so far?
Sadly, I rarely go out in the evening except to places close to home. Tweeted.
Logically, I shouldn’t, but on fun, cultural, uplifting events such as these, I’ll go. I think that’s another wonderful reason behind the invention/discovery of coffee and caffeinated tea (and a really loud alarm clock)!
