Yesterday was National Pet Day. Well, Kit and Kat didn’t get the memo. They know it’s National Pay Attention to Me Year – every hour of every day of every year.
They time their pranks right (knocking off my reading glasses if it’s well past a reasonable bedtime; writing on my laptop if I’m not (is it sad they’ve written more than I have this year?); positioning themselves to either kill me, trip me, test me, or get me to exercise more. More often than not, they know when I need to slow down and just enjoy the silence.
