Splendid Saturday

They say today is International Frugal Fun Day. Had a great deal of fun and frugal choices had nothing to do with it. The Base2Space event has to be one of the most exhilarating days I have enjoyed all year. To learn from the volunteers that this may become an annual tradition – I’m in!

Met some friendly volunteers and enthusiastic walkers while congratulating those who ran up the stairs before us! (One volunteer, looking out for climbers’ safety, had already made the trip up three times before noon!!)

The weather was perfect as 1000’s of participant ascended 832 steps. 98 flights of stairs, 52 stories, 18 minutes = one SPECTACULAR day!
