“F is for Falls” – Snoqualmie Falls, that is.
A fun afternoon with a friend, we decided to check out the Falls on a typical rainy day. Took a break in “The Attic,” then went out again.
For those who wish to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Falls – here is Sheri’s splendid post!

Great Pics. A beautiful place for sure. Glad you got to enjoy the day!
Thanks. And discovered “The Attic” has a unique atmosphere that could lend itself to writing.
LOVE the pics! I’ve always had an affinity for water falls. The roar – all those negative ions – the power of the rushing water! I had a friend who often spoke of the beauty of Snoqualmie Falls. Thanks for sharing their beauty in pics.
I’m glad you enjoyed them! I eagerly await the day they open the trail to the lower part of the Falls (now postponed for fall).
Gorgeous place. I’d love to check them out too.

I’m glad you like it! You’ll enjoy the scene for sure! (smile)
We always tried to go after a heavy rain or when the spring thaw sent water cascading down the Falls. The over-spray from the bottom could drench an unwary onlooker on the viewing platform.
True – still does drench the visitors, even with the new design. Amazing to see how many people were prepared with clear umbrellas.
Really beautiful. I love waterfalls. There’s a small one near our house. It’s an easy short hike and just being near the sound makes for a great afternoon.
A wonderful image to share – thank you.
These are beautiful, so alive, you can almost hear the water flowing ~L~
I’m glad you enjoy them. This might be of interest as Sheri has included the sights and sounds: http://sherijkennedyriverside.wordpress.com/2013/04/06/breathing-space-april-613/
Gorgeous! I remember sending my brother a supply box to Snoqualmie Pass when he was hiking the PCT many years ago, but that was so near the end of the trail I never really saw any pictures from that time! Thanks for sharing those! It’s unbelievably beautiful!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! (smile)
Beautiful pics. 🙂
Thanks! (smile)
