Ducky Time

Ducky Time by Tommia Wright

It’s occurred to me why I find ‘reality shows’ so annoying – they lack logic and character. All right, there are several reasons why I don’t care for such shows (chief among them, they lead to cancellations of shows I do enjoy), but I digress.

For a practical read on what makes characters pop – read Deborah Owen’s “How to Build 2D and 3D Characters” for some points to ponder. *Actually, subscribe to Deborah’s blog for a wonderful wealth of ideas for writers! Her articles, along with great opportunities and classes from Creative Writing Institute are worth the time.

In the world of books, check out Kate Curran‘s debut book, Only for You.

And many thanks for the kind words for “Reflections on Water,” Mari!

For other fun reads,  check out the collection at FreeValley Publishing, complete with a delightful assortment of excerpts from other exceptional authors, too!

The words were well-deserved. I intend to buy another one as a gift later in the year. I Tweeted this for you too.

I think ‘reality shows’ have got to be about as far from reality as you can get!
(Still, I do like “Amazing Race” and “America’s Got Talent”) 🙂
