Falling
One of the best things about the fall
Aside from the cascading leaves from wooden walls
Is the way the rain pours to clean it all
The mugginess of summer, before winter’s call
Clear Curtains
Forget the intricate patterns of lace,
Or the silky sheen drapes all over the place
Give me a rain-soaked day to brighten my face.
The other side of the walls to see his grace.

I love your poems, but not that weather. I ran from it. I see the Maker’s majesty every morning in the color of the skies and the changing color of the mountains.
Thank you. I guess what draws me in would be the vibrant greens, the autumn colors and the assortment of clouds among other things.
beautiful poems Tommiaw, and I too love the rain, thunder, lightning, all enlightening and keeping our beautiful mountains green and clean!!! š
