Hard to believe it’s been two weeks since my wonderful respite at Belle Grove Plantation Bed and Breakfast! Michelle was an excellent host who greeted me at the late hour and gave me a short tour before showing me to the Hipkins-Bernard Room.

After the tour, and a bit of lingering in the library, it was time to let mind and body rest after five days of conference learning.

The first morning greeted me with a tranquil scene different from the Capitol City. There’s a road in the distance, not that traffic could be heard.

After a day of exploring Fredericksburg, filled with many discoveries, it was nice to return to Belle Grove in time to see the sunset over the river.

In looking back to the too-short, yet perfect stay, the savings account has already begun for a return trip for strictly personal reasons.
