Friday Fast One

leaf alone

Summer slips into Fall

Like a leaf floating down a creek.

Sometimes smoothly, sometimes harsh

Seasons will continue their march.

Like it hot, like it cold?

Ne’er forget the ‘tween seasons –

Spring’s green, Fall’s gold.

Summer coolly slips away,

In comes the Fall.

Very appropriate for this time of year and the poem matches the photograph perfectly. Tweeted.
