Friday Fast One
Patterns emerge – left
Right on the floor
In the cracks of the wall
Some vanish into thin air
Making rainbows, lit so, everywhere.
Thursday Thought
“Sleep that knits up the ravell’d sleave of care…” ~ MacBeth
Catching up on the first week’s segments of “Learning how to Learn,” and finally seeing a pattern (aside from the problematic procrastination piece)…
Have you every struggled with/shelved something only to have realization/understanding come to light?

Too Much Tuesday
Too much fun with this year’s Sketchbook Project Print Exchange. The theme, “Greetings from a Distant Land” was a toss between creating yet another Falls print (will unearth the previous attempts some day) or go with the seldom used “Dragon’s Delight.” It was during one of Leslie Nan Moon‘s print making classes that this dragon perched itself atop a stack of books.
Good news – 11 (plus) prints done,11 prints sent. One project stepped in the ‘finish’ collection.
As for the “Base to Space” that has a few more steps to go. In preparing for this, I have been increasing the number of stairs climbed a bit each day. There are a few places nearby to get a decent workout in; otherwise, one can never have a ‘bad excuse’ to go to the library.
If I survive this, who knows – maybe next year, I will join a colleague for the 3-Day Walk… Maybe I should consider this one step at a time.
