Franklin Falls in Fall
One of the goals for 2014 is to organize the plethora of photos tucked away on hard-drives, on many desktops, and in shoe boxes. This is from the archives of the Franklin Falls hike in 2012. While the colors are the same for this time of year,the only thing missing is a bit of frost.

Turning a New Leaf
Happy New Year!
Granted, the mystery remains on where the previous year has gone. WordPress sent me a year-end report. The other social media I dabble in have sent me their ‘have a successful new year’ planning aids. I’m sure some friends are making new year’s resolutions. I have only one: not to make any resolutions – it’s lasted almost half a life-time now, so I’ll keep it.
May you have a wonderful year filled with blessings and wonderfully rewarding relationships.

Of all the presents this time of year, Immanuel is the most precious.
We don’t have a white Christmas this year. But what we do have is the gift of family and friends, of the company and support of each other. Lord willing, this earthly gift will last a long time.
