Sadly, Smith Tower is shrinking. Once the tallest building in Seattle, amybe the west coast, the Tower is dwarfed by the Columbia Tower and others
What is with the obsession of things going up and out? Who knows. I know I’m still confused by the number of vacant buildings on Main Street while construction continues on the outskirts of town.

‘Today’s entry is short’…lol…very appropriate. 🙂 I really like the way your shot dwarfs the tower to look smaller than a street light. tIt drives home your point. It has always disturbed me that we build and build instead of utilizing and appreciating the resources we have. I suspect it has to do with ego. Each wants to take their own shot and make their own mark.
