Too Much…
Too much fun with so many brushes
With water, with oil, with color, without?
Tracing? Abstract? Obscure? Subtract?
Paint by numbers or outside lines
Follow rules or mischievously combine
The multitude of hues, of lines thick, thin?
The tip of the brush to the canvas –
A new story begins.
Monday Moment
Plunging, Pouring, Roaring
Plunging from the pessimist’s plank
Positive you will always bounce back
Pouring one’s soul into a given task
Proving you have nothing to lack
Roaring at the unknown.
Steps you take, your destiny your own.

Saturday Snapshot
It’s amazing how much changes – what is lost, what is found. Sheri J. Kennedy caught this scene behind the facade of the bakery on main street – the last remnants of George’s Bakery. George Macris was our Willie Wonka of the Valley when it came to baked goods. Those of us who grew up here remember a different face to the shop. Who knew this was tucked behind it? Behind this sign (since gone- thank you for the capture Sheri!) is a collection of windows now seen.
What will be the new face and collection of Georgia’s Bakery? We’ll see.
